    help/advice needed please on project.

    hi all
new member here with a small project.

well after having heart surgery and needing something to do through the coming months i have decided to try and make a forestock from a ww2 lee enfield rifle, i have borrowed a donor forestock and intend to make an exact outside mold of it using fiberglass,, once made i can shape the new stock and when it drops into the mold i know i have the exact shape of it, .......................my question is can i cover the wood in some way so the fiberglass mold just lifts off it? and how coverings should i give it so its good and strong?. just in case your wondering i intend to do the same with the inside of the forestock then cut out the inner part of the forestock till the inner mold drops in and sits perfect! i thought wrapping it in something like cling film to protect the donor wood. whatever i use it has to be cheap to use as i am now off work till at least next year.

yea mad i know but i need something to do and this will keep me busy foe ages.

    thanks guys
