Q:
I have acquired a Squib sailing boat - fibreglass, the original gelcoat was white. A beige colour was then put on, and 2 years ago a whitish paint was applied - the previous owner will not come clean, but I understand it was 'flag' brand. This coat is blistering, an awful mess, exposing the beige underneath. Obviously I do not wish to harm the gelcoat - is there any compound to remove this or is it a case of sandblasting with Borax? I would be repainting with International.

A:
Strippit should remove all the paint without harming the gelcoat.
